What's happening at Man U makes me think of all the gloryhunters.

Growing up in the 90s, both primary and secondary school along with the various football teams I played for had loads of Man United fans with absolutey zero connection to the club.

I hope they have stayed loyal and are now getting endless stick but they have probably changed to Man City via Chelsea.

More like Two Bob.

How much if the blame should fall on the Glazers? Sure they’ve fucked about with the business side but they’ve backed their managers to the tune of over a billion quid in the last few years. They’ve given enough for the team to win trophies but the football side has been run worse than ours has.

You look at the pieces (players) and they have plenty of good ones. So it has to be the team the spirt to play together. But seems no one can sort it out. It's like the whole set up think they deserve to be top and don't have to play for it. Changing a few people don't do it.

they could have God at the wheel and it wouldn't help, Rangnick was spot on when he said they need to get rid of everyone and start again but they sacked him for it. Players there are obviously toxic

If they DO go down, I bet they'll start going through managers faster than Watford beforehand

Part of that is clearly Rangnick trying to save his own miserable backside from the absolute dogs dinner he made of it himself though.

They do need to cut Ronaldo loose right now. The guy is a cancer.

It took years for Fergie to build them into title contender's. Something the fans, media. And owners won't allow. The whole place is rotten to the core. Couldn't happen to a better bunch.

Its funny, under Ole they finished 3rd and 2nd in the full seasons they had with him.

Personally I think Greenwood being a nonce and signing Ronaldo de-railed everything for them.

oh well...

Their team today cost almost half a billion quid. Eight times Brentford’s.

What a joke club they are right now.

Re: Man United Relegation thread 22/23
That had more to do with the pandemic and the teams around them being off form. Nothing looks like they are closing the gap on north London. Let alone the top 3.!

Just a shame most of the gloaters from the nineties and early two thousands now follow Man City or watch Rugby.

This really is what those insufferable cunts from that era deserve.

People try to pretend that there is a family club at the heart of MUFC, that Gill and Ferguson were brilliant stewards of a glorious altruistic empire.

It's bollocks. They made their cash at the right time and pulled the ladder up behind them as far as possible. If they'd had it their way, the gulf between the 6 biggest earning clubs and the rest would be even wider.

This painful decline couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of cunts. Long time in the making, revenge is a dish best served by a family of vampiric American hedge-fund hogs.

......and to watch that wimp Neville whine about it makes it even more enjoyable.

I cannot stand that self-righteous champagne socialist big-nosed Manc cunt, Neville. Every week on his soapbox. If it's not football, he's attempting to put the world to rights with his single-digit IQ. Fuck off.

Re: Man United Relegation thread 22/23
I'd love to see Man United relegated as much as the next man, but having seen a relegation thread on here every season for about twenty years have any of them actually led to a club being relegated?
